Hobart and William Smith Colleges

Prof. Nan Crystal Arens is director of the REU program and organizes REU activities at Hobart & William Smith Colleges. She coordinates overall program logistics including housing, travel, recruiting, and workshop planning. She also teaches the scientific communication and data analysis workshops. She also works closely with faculty and peer mentors at HWS to support student research projects. She is also an REU research mentor.

Prof. Linda Tseng is co-director of the REU program and organizes REU activities at the City College of New York. She coordinates logistics for the CCNY component of the program and works closely with REU research and peer mentors at CCNY to support student research projects. She is also an REU research mentor.
