“I give because HWS gave me the courage to go outside my comfort zone and take risks, from studying abroad in Sri Lanka to choreographing pieces for Koshare. That beautiful, bucolic campus continually inspired me during my four years in Geneva, along with the open, supportive atmosphere created by the faculty and administration. Without a doubt, my college experience established the foundation for my writing career. It’s been wonderful to see HWS invest more in the arts over the years with the addition of the Katherine D. Elliott Studio Arts Center, the expansion of the Goldstein Family Carriage House, as well as the recent completion of the Gearan Center for the Performing Arts. I can’t wait to see a show when I visit next spring!”
