Charlie Dixon ’98 was recently hired by Fox Sports as executive vice president of content and production at sports-cable outlets Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2. In the newly created position, Dixon will oversee all content and production on the channels and will report directly to Jamie Horowitz, president of Fox Sports National Networks.
Dixon previously ran the digital media department at IMG, and has also worked as a programming executive for both NBC News and ESPN. Most recently, he was senior vice president of development working with MSNBC and NBC News.
Dixon received his B.A. in history from Hobart in 1998. He was a decorated member of both the tennis and golf teams, having received the Emblem Award and the Rookie Award for Tennis in his first year.
