The Salisbury Center for Career Services recently launched a redesigned Web site. With clearly defined sections for students, parents, alums and recruiters, the new site is user-friendly and informative. It also offers several interactive features, including the ability to instant message with a career services staff member, an active career development cycle for current students and a calendar of upcoming career-related events.
“This site better serves our mission,” said Colleen Johnson, assistant director of the center. “It conveys our information more clearly, which will help HWS students learn what they can do with a liberal arts degree and fulfill their career objectives.”
Students can log on to the newly designed pages to find advice about choosing a career path, preparing for future work or study and earning scholarships. Parents looking to help their student start on a career path will find a wealth of information. Alumni and alumnae can access career development tools or offer guidance and jobs to other HWS students and graduates. Recruiters visiting the new site will learn more about the Colleges and guidelines for recruiting on campus.
