Due to concerns about the storm pattern tomorrow, the Commencement ceremony will start at 9 a.m.
The Quad will open for families at 7:30 a.m. Students will begin robing at 8 a.m. Faculty will begin robing at 8:30 a.m. The procession will begin at 9 a.m.
We strongly encourage all participants to dress accordingly – including bringing an umbrella. Since we will be outdoors on grass surfaces, please wear appropriate footwear for the weather and conditions. All graduating seniors will receive a rain poncho, and a limited number of ponchos will be available to guests for free.
The ceremony will be livestreamed online and broadcast in Gulick 100 and in Albright Auditorium.
In the event of severe weather, including lightning, the Faculty Marshal will make an announcement stopping the ceremony and will provide further instructions. Campus Safety and Event Staff will assist in directing attendees to nearby buildings or their cars. Graduates will pick up their diplomas in the Warren Hunting Smith Library.
