2026 International Student Orientation will take place from Sunday, Aug. 23 – Wednesday, Aug. 26.

This list provides highlights of each day's events.

Arrival to campus (by 12:00 p.m.)
12 – 1 p.m.: Lunch @ Saga (Performance) in Scandling Center
1 – 2 p.m.: Welcome, Introductions, and Icebreakers @ Adams Intercultural Center
2 – 5 p.m.: Break time / Walmart shuttle
5 – 6 p.m.: Dinner @ Saga (Performance) in Scandling Center
6 p.m. – end: Ice cream social with current intl. students @ Adams Intercultural Center

9:45 – 11:30 a.m.: Federal regulations workshop with DSOs @ Adams Intercultural Center (bring I-20s and passports)
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Lunch @ Adams Intercultural Center
12:30 – 2 p.m.: Campus partner presentations @ Adams Intercultural Center
2 – 2:15 p.m.: Break time
2:15 – 3:15 p.m.: Student panel with current intl. students @ Adams Intercultural Center
3:30 – 5:30 p.m.: Campus tour
5:30 – 6:30 p.m.: BBQ Dinner @ Scandling Café Patio
7 p.m. – end: Optional social event @ Adams Intercultural Center

8:30 – 9:15 a.m.: Breakfast @ Saga (Performance) in Scandling Center
9:30 – 10 a.m.: Student employment presentation with Career Services @ Adams Intercultural Center
10 – 11:15 a.m.: Sprintax Calculus workshop @ Adams Intercultural Center
11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Trip to Watkins Glen, NY (includes lunch)
5 p.m. – end: Free time
