Fargo, the FX television show based on the 1996 film of the same name and of which Warren Littlefield 74 is an executive producer, recently won Emmys for Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited Series or Movie and Outstanding Sound Editing for a Limited Series, Movie or a Special at the 68th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
The show, a dark comedy about crime in a small Minnesota community, was nominated for 18 Emmys this year: eight in Primetime categories and 10 in the Creative Arts. In all, Fargo has garnered five Emmy wins and 35 nominations since it was launched in 2014.
Previously, under Littlefields watch as NBC president, the network won an amazing 168 Emmy awards and numerous other industry honors. He joined the company as manager of comedy development in 1979. At that time, NBC had no comedies ranked among Nielsens top 25 shows. Less than two years later, he was promoted to vice president of current comedy programs. The Littlefield Company, through which he now produces, represents the next chapter in his career.
