3 December 2024 • Entrepreneurship Student Startups Compete for $10,000 Prize

Meet the 2025 Todd Feldman ’89 and Family Pitch Competition semifinalists.

Ten student entrepreneurs have advanced to the semifinal round of the Todd Feldman ’89 and Family Pitch Competition. With $10,000 in funding on the line, these innovative startups are ready to take their ventures to the next level.

Modeled after Shark Tank and hosted by the Centennial Center for Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the entrepreneurial leadership competition helps students launch an idea for a product, service or nonprofit. Between now and the final competition on March 6, semifinalists will refine their business plans with the help of an entrepreneurial mentor. From this group, four finalists will advance to pitch their ventures to a panel of judges and the entire HWS community.

“This year’s semifinalists showcase remarkable creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial passion,” says Dean of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Lisa Kaenzig. “These ideas tackle challenges including  sustainability, wellness,  education and global issues and clearly reflect the entrepreneurial spirit at HWS.”

Todd Feldman ’89 and his family generously sponsor the prize money every year. Founder of The Feldman Co., Feldman has more than 30 years of experience developing and building businesses.
