4 December 2024 Weier ’25 Interns with J.Crew Group By Annabel Ramsay '25

Tabitha Weier '25 reflects on her experience with J.Crew Marketing.

Over the course of a 10-week internship, Tabitha Weier ’25 supported the J.Crew Factory marketing team in New York City by developing strategies for organic and paid social media channels, assisting with campaign execution alongside various affiliate partners, coordinating with influencers for drive-to-store initiatives and paid content, as well as working collaboratively with other teams across the J.Crew Group.

At the end of the internship, Weier participated in a group project to design a new collection for Fall 2025. For her individual contribution, she created a magazine and developed various campaign strategies to promote the new line her team crafted.

“I have always loved J.Crew and its other associated brands. When I received my dream opportunity to intern at J.Crew Factory in its marketing department, I knew it would be such a valuable experience,” says Weier, an architectural studies major and entrepreneurial studies minor.

Weier notes that her background in architectural studies was particularly helpful in her career search. “My advisor, Gabriella D’Angelo, along with all my professors within the Architecture department have encouraged me to think outside of the box and create,” she says. “As I assembled my portfolio and reflected on the amazing courses I have taken, I am excited about how much I have learned over the past four years, and how those experiences will propel my career forward.”

Weier also connected with several HWS alumni while at J.Crew including Maggie Manko Standish '14 in talent acquisition, Mary Kate Bates Miranowski '09 in J.Crew merchandising and Ellie Flynn '22, formerly in J.Crew Factory merchandising and now with Ralph Lauren.

On campus, Weier is a member of the William Smith lacrosse team and also created the team’s graphics and runs its Instagram account. She also works as an O’Laughlin Ambassador for the Admissions Office and is a Global Ambassador for the Center for Global Education. Weier studied abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France last fall.
