Zach Williams ’23 MSM ’24 will be launching his career in finance at global business consulting firm Protiviti.
Following an intensive summer internship with Protiviti, Zach Williams ’23, MSM ’24 is returning to their New York office full-time this spring as a risk and compliance consultant.
Protiviti was “an obvious choice,” he says, noting his internship experience and the company’s culture.
“As an intern this summer they made it apparent that I was just as important as the CEO, and everyone was just so welcoming and took time out of their busy schedules to create a connection with me and the other interns,” he explains.
In the new role, Williams will help advise financial institutions on ways to improve operations while complying with the financial laws and regulations.
An economics major and entrepreneurial studies minor at HWS, Williams is also involved on campus with the HWS Real Estate, Architecture and Design Institute and is fine-tuning leadership skills and team-based work in the HWS Master of Science and Management program. He will join Protiviti following his graduation from the program, which has deepened his understanding of emerging challenges and opportunities facing global businesses.
“With DEI and climate change becoming very important in the management sector, it was important for me to learn how to best navigate these topics; the master’s has given me that ability to develop my skills and will make me a better future manager in this changing world,” Williams says.
