23 June 2025 HelloFresh Joins HWS Dining Plan Options

Meal kits bring convenience to off-campus life.

Hobart and William Smith (HWS) Dining is excited to announce a new dining plan option: HelloFresh meal kits delivered directly to student residences. This partnership offers students a flexible way to enjoy pre-prepped meals with the ease of doorstep delivery.

Students can integrate the meal kits into their dining plans through their my Housing account. After choosing their preferred option, they will receive a unique code to activate their HelloFresh account, granting access to four meals per week throughout the academic semester.

"HelloFresh is an ideal solution for students with access to a private kitchen, including our off-campus residents and those in apartments, suites, and theme houses," says Becca Morris, Vice President for Campus Life and Dean of Students.

To cater to diverse living situations, two plans are available:

  • The St. Clair Plan: Designed for students residing off-campus, in theme houses, or apartments, this standalone plan includes HelloFresh meals and an additional $200 in snack money.
  • The HelloFresh+ Plan: Perfect for students in suite-style living or with kitchen access within their residence, this plan can be added to their existing meal plan and includes an extra $200 for snacks.

HelloFresh boxes arrive weekly, packed with fresh, pre-measured ingredients, step-by-step photo instructions, and a list of necessary cooking tools. Students can choose from an extensive and rotating weekly menu, and the company ensures food freshness with insulated packaging and ice packs.

HWS faculty and staff are also eligible to subscribe to the HelloFresh+ plan. For more information about the HelloFresh program, please contact Dining Services by visiting the Concierge Desk at The Great Dining Hall of Saga.

Meal plan selection for HWS is now active and continues through the start of the semester. Students can explore all dining service locations and menus via the Everyday app or the my Housing account management website.
