Happy Monday!

As of this morning, all results for tests that were administered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday by 3 p.m. have been e-mailed to students. A small number of students need a repeat test due either to a positive or inconclusive pool test, in addition to students who tested between 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday. The Broad Institute returned results within a 3-hour turnaround time, so we expect that by Tuesday morning, all students who arrived on-time should have their test results. Students who are unable to attend class in-person because they are awaiting their negative PCR test result should work directly with their faculty regarding their options.

Pre-arrival testing identified 9 students who were required to isolate at home. In addition, 14 positive cases were identified through our on-site testing and those students have been moved into isolation. The Colleges’ dashboard is updated and will be updated Monday through Friday.

The Deans will be sending notifications of quarantines, inclusive of students who needed to isolate at home.

We wish you well in the first week of classes.

All the best,

Sarah Kirk, Provost and Dean of Faculty
Becca B. Barile, Vice President for Campus Life and Dean of Students
