- During the class Introduction to Architecture Design: II, Assistant Professor of Art and Architecture Jeffrey Blankenship discusses a site plan that would pay tribute to Geneva musician Scott LaFaro, an influential American jazz double bassist. The students will come up with a proposal for a performance space or memorial that will be presented to the City of Geneva for approval or for fundraising.

During the competition students are given 15 minutes to explain a significant principle or application of physics. The winner receives a check for $1,000. Duchess” was written for HWS by award-winning playwright Johnny Drago. Performances run Thursday and Friday, April 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday, April 16, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
