- Assistant Professor of Physics Illeana Dumitriu helps two Geneva Middle School students assemble a radiation sensor that will be launched into space as part of GSat-1, a community outreach initiative designed by Christopher Demas ’17, William Ortlieb ’19 and Cody Rivera ’17 to promote STEM research in the Geneva School District.

Gearan, the panel featured co-owner of Billsboro Winery Kim Aliperti, Professor of Economics Alan Frishman, Director of the HWS Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning Katie Flowers, former director of Volunteers in Asia Clifford Chan and Assistant Dean at the University of Rochester Glenn Cerosaletti.
