- Nancy Preston Tansill ’18, James W. Mula ’18 and Anne R. O’Brien ’18 have all accepted positions at Aon in New York City, a division of Aon plc, the leading global provider of risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage.
- Cole Bardawill ’18 recently accepted a position working as an analyst at Goldman Sachs, a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm.
- This summer, Zahra Arabzada ‘19 will be featured in Health Magazine about her experience running in an ultramarathon and her advocacy work for women in Afghanistan. She will also work as a research assistant for Dr. John Harmon, a surgeon at John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Maryland.
- Evan Mextorf '18 will join the community of HWS alumnae and alumni worldwide working for IHS Markit through an internship in Singapore. The opportunity is supported by the Charles H. Salisbury International Summer Internship stipend.
- Through the Charles H. Salisbury Summer International Internship stipend, Elizabeth Oliver '18 will intern for the media and technology firm IPG Mediabrands in Singapore.
- Joining the Peace Corps in Namibia this fall, Natalie Booth ’18 will teach high school science and support educational opportunities during her two-years of service.
- Almamy Conde ’18 will work in real estate as co-founder of SmartHunter.
- This summer, Erika Ireland '19 is off to Paris, France through an internship with the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration. The opportunity is made possible through the Charles H. Salisbury International Summer Internship stipend.
- Tamira Jackson-Lofton ’19 will launch her career in digital media through an internship with the Emmy-winning comedy entertainment company Funny Or Die. Jackson-Lofton secured the position after a three-day networking session in Los Angeles, Calif.
- Joining the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic this fall, Carl Weiss ’17 will assist school officials, volunteers and project partners in improving classroom curriculum and student reading skills as a Spanish literacy promoter.
- A recipient of the prestigious U.S. Fulbright Student Award, Lauren St. Peter ’18 will travel to Taiwan this summer to begin her one-year tenure as an English Teaching Assistant on behalf of the U.S. Department of State.
- Emily Robinson '18 and Bingqing Zhou '18 have been inducted into the Japanese National Honor Society - College Chapter (JNHS-CC), which recognizes academic excellence in the study of the Japanese language.
- Cashel McCarthy '18 will travel to Mongolia as a Public Health Volunteer with the Peace Corps.
- This summer, Elizabeth Weingast '18, a finalist in the 2016 Stu Lieblein '90 Pitch Contest, will begin working for J.P. Morgan as an investment banking analyst.
- As a member of AmeriCorps, Aidan Ely ’18 will work at the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester (N.Y.) .
- Hilda Agyekum ’18 will work in Rochester, N.Y., as a member of AmeriCorps' Youth Corps.
- Having won both the snowboard slalom and the giant slalom at the Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) National Championship, Myles Silverman ’19 is set to compete in the World University Games in Krasnoyarsk, Russia in 2019. This summer, Silverman is interning for Merrill Lynch while he continues to train, aiming to qualify for a seat on the U.S. Olympic Team for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China.
- Through the Bickley Family Endowed International Internship Fund, Monika von Brauchitsch '18 will work for the media and technology firm IPG Mediabrands in Singapore.
- Justas Valciukas ’19 will complete an internship this summer with AEG in Vietnam, where he will teach English and coach basketball.
- The 2018 William Smith Commencement Class Speaker, Quinn Cullum '18 will head to New York City this summer to begin her career in financial services at IHS Markit as an associate finance analyst.
- Through the Guaranteed Summer Internship Program, John Mainella ’19 will travel to Tel Aviv, Israel to intern as an athletic trainer with World Lacrosse Athletics.
- Made possible through funding from the Tanaka Ikueikai Educational Trust, Jackie Matos '19 will intern in Mumbai, India, at an educational non-profit and enroll in an integrated acedemic seminar.
- Taylor Mancini ’19 recently accepted an internship with Genworth, an industry leader in long-term care insurance. She will assist with portfolio management by gathering, reviewing and analyzing research.
- Generously funded by the Tanaka Ikueikai Educational Trust, Divya Tewari '19 will travel to Cambodia to work with an non-governmental organization.
- Mikayla Meyer ’20 will take her passion for animals to Queensland, Australia to intern with Marine Land. The opportunity is made possible through the HWS Guaranteed Internship Program.
- Made possible by the Charles H. Salisbury International Summer Internship stipend, Brooks Follett '19 will intern for the media and technology firm IPG MediaBrands in Australia.
- Alexandra Curtis '20 will intern this summer at the A.M. Gorky Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow. The internship is made possible through the Charles H. Salisbury International Internship stipend.
- Winner of the 2017 Stu Lieblein Pitch Contest, Sam Solomon '17 will be cooking wood-fired pizzas throughout the Finger Lakes this summer. Pizza Posto will be serving pizza during the Friday night celebration at HWS Reunion.
- William Samayoa ’19 is completing an internship as a public relations assistant with the Aziza Group in Los Angeles, Calif.
- Elena Parkins '18 plans to pursue research in the field of child psychology. Parkins completed her Honors study in choral conducting during the 2017-2018 academic year.
- Commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, Owen Smith '18 will attend Basic School, where newly commissioned USMC officers spend eight months learning the fundamentals of their new role.
- This summer, Adrianne Torea '19 will combine her passion for writing and music through an editorial internship with Baeble Music in Brooklyn, N.Y. Torea will spend the fall semester studying abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France.
- Kristine Vann '18, who completed an Honors project in photography during the 2017-2018 academic year, will begin a fellowship in marketing and design at The Kitchen Theater in Ithaca, N.Y.
- Stu Lieblein '90 Pitch Contest finalist, Gyuri Dragomir ’17 is launching the “Deals en Route” app in Geneva. The geofencing software connects consumers with local businesses.
- Elizabeth Anderson '19 and other HWS students will travel to Kenya for three weeks and intern with Kiwimbi Opportunity through Education, an organization that partners with underserved communities to create educational opportunities.
- Sarah Banta '19 will also travel to Kenya this summer to intern with Kiwimbi Opportunity through Education.
