This Week in Photos: Kinetic Dance Collective
- “URBXN” opens the Kinetic Dance Collective Fall Showcase, performed at the Smith Opera House in downtown, Geneva. The piece was choreographed by Lauren Earley ’23.
- Dancers perform “Cuz We Don’t Need Permission to Dance,” choreographed by Grate Bott ’23, Pentagon, Jessi and Son Sundeuk. Formerly known as Koshare, the Kinetic Dance Collective is part of a 50-year tradition at the Colleges of student-choreographed dance performance in all styles.
- Students tap out “Four on the Floor,” choreographed by Bliss Doney ’22. The KDC Fall Showcase packed the Smith Opera House on Friday and Saturday night.
- Dancers leap across the stage during “Epiphany of Love,” choreographed by Allie Lussier ’23 and Emma Pinker ’23.
- Students strike a pose during “I Will Never Love Again,” named after the title track by Lady Gaga. The piece was choreographed by Emma Bilton ’22.
- Dancers get in formation during “Hasta la Vista,” choreographed by Gemma Carr-Locke ’22.
- Aarushi Agarwal ’23, Lucas Amaral ’23 and Hannah Angelico ’25 perform “Fun is in the Air.”
- Dancers line up during “Give it to ‘Em,” choreographed by Jenna Hyman ’23 and Tia Thevenin ’23.
- Dancers perform “soothe,” choreographed by Amelia Rojek ’22 in collaboration with dancers, during the Kinetic Dance Collective Fall Showcase.

- Dancers perform “Glide,” choreographed by Bryna Gage ’22.
- Sisters Emma Bilton ’22 and Hannah Bilton ’22 perform “I Still Love You, Always,” choreographed by Hannah.
- Dancers reach forward during “longing,” choreographed by Hannah Bixby ’23 and Amelia Rojek ’22.
- Dancers perform “Kiwi” after the title track by Harry Styles. The piece was choreographed by Julia McCormack ’23.
- Dancers perform “Dazed,” choreographed by Emma Pinker ’23.
- Dancers move across the stage during “Way 2 Fire,” choreographed by Yashimabet Drummond ’24.
- “Honey, You Mean Hunkules” closes the show. The piece was choreographed by Carolyn Girard ’22 and Elana Rose ’22.
