Thomas S. Bozzuto '68, Chair of the Board of Trustees

Bozzuto is the CEO and Chairman of The Bozzuto Group, which he founded in 1988. During his more than 45-year career in real estate, Bozzuto has overseen the creation of more than 50,000 homes and apartments, garnering national renown for his leadership. Bozzuto has served on the HWS Board of Trustees since 2000, was the lead donor in the construction of the Colleges’ boathouse named for his father and, with his wife Barbara, established the Thomas S. Bozzuto ’68 Endowed Scholarship Fund, the Bozzuto Family First-Generation Endowed Scholarship, and the Bozzuto Center for Entrepreneurship. At Hobart, Bozzuto majored in English and was president of the student body. He served as a combat correspondent for the 25th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army in Vietnam, later earning a master's degree in metropolitan studies from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.

Cynthia Gelsthorpe Fish '82, HWS Trustee

Fish has served on the Board of Trustees for 12 years, providing direction to the executive, enrollment management and student affairs committees. She earned a B.A. in psychology and a certification in elementary education from William Smith before receiving a Master’s in Teaching from Tufts University. She made the lead gift to create the Centennial Center at the Colleges, the heart of leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation programming on campus. Most recently, Fish was pivotal in supporting the Gearan Center for Performing Arts.

Andrew G. McMaster, Jr. '74, P'09, HWS Trustee

McMaster has served on the Board of Trustees for 20 years as a member of the executive committee, financial affairs, investments and governance. An economics major at Hobart, McMaster earned his MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is the retired senior partner, deputy chief executive officer and vice chair of Deloitte LLP, where he started the firm’s Forensic Services Practice at a time when forensic accounting was still a new concept. McGuire House, a residence for visiting scholars, was donated to the Colleges by McMaster.
