Safety Guidelines

Hobart and William Smith will continue to follow State health and safety guidelines related to Covid-19. At this time, fully vaccinated individuals will not be required to mask for all indoor spaces across campus. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated are required to be masked at all times while indoors in public spaces. Regardless of vaccination status, masks will be required in the following situations:

  • If a faculty or staff member asks students or colleagues to wear masks within their classrooms or offices.
  • Inside health care facilities, such as the Hubbs Health Center and Counseling Center.

Therefore, we ask all visitors to carry a mask with them at all times.

Tours and other admissions events are often attended by multiple families. If you would prefer to enjoy a more socially distant visit, please contact our office at (315) 781-3622 and we will be happy to make arrangements.
