Career Plan Before HWS: A career in sports 

Internship Responsibilities: Assisting with match day events, assuring compliance with match timelines, communicating information with the press box, and technical placement of equipment.

I am hoping to learn more about this type of work and gain the necessary experience in order to be ready for a similar career post-graduation.”

Athletics: Mandyck is a three-year member of the William Smith basketball team. She has appeared in 71 career games for the Herons, starting three. Mandyck has averaged 1.9 points per game, 1.2 rebounds per game and 0.8 assists per game in her career. She was recognized as a CSC Academic All-District selection in 2025 and is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic. The guard from West Hartford, Conn. dropped a career-high 12 points against RIT in 2023 and grabbed a career-high five rebounds against Skidmore in 2025.
