Hobart and William Smith offers a gorgeous setting for your next event. Nestled in the heart of the Finger Lakes, the campus is located just minutes from downtown Geneva. The Colleges offer spaces both large and small for conferences, youth programs, weddings and more in historic and modern settings. Geneva is home to fine restaurants, breathtaking views and many breweries and vineyards. Seneca Lake provides both a picturesque background and a useful space for your recreational, academic or research needs.

Spaces

Bristol Field House has a capacity of nearly 5,000 while Albright Auditorium and the Vandervort Room offer spaces for 500. Smaller, intimate settings include the Seneca Room, the Blackwell Room and the Stine Multipurpose Room, to name a few.

Our event spaces are equipped with audio and visual resources. Wi-fi is available across campus.

Dining

From coffee and hors d'oeuvres to full course meals, Hobart and William Smith is able to accommodate your event’s dining needs. Our team of chefs can create delicious dishes using local, fresh ingredients and can meet any dietary needs.

Guests can also attend meals at the Great Hall of Saga, the Colleges' main dining hall. Saga offers an all-you-can-eat style of dining with options ranging from classics and pizza to global, vegan and gluten-free dishes.

Lodging

Hobart and William Smith offers summer lodging with a variety of housing options.

During the academic year, we can typically facilitate group stays at nearby hotels or inns.

Geneva

Geneva is the perfect location to host your next event. The city we call home offers delicious dining options and dozens of breweries and vineyards. Geneva is home to multiple hotels, inns and other lodging options, providing you with comfortable places to relax and unwind. 

Parking

The Colleges offer parking at the Medbery North parking lot and other lots throughout campus. Guests should request a parking permit from the Office of Campus Safety.

Current faculty and staff should reserve spaces and create events through 25Live Pro. The dashboard provides quick searches for events, locations and organizations, as well as an Event Request form. Instructions on how to create an event can be found here.

If you are interested in reserving Harris House, please contact Conferences and Events directly. You may also request a van by completing this form. Van rentals must be sponsored by a department with the Colleges. More information can be found here.
