NEW HIRE ONBOARDING

Before your First Day

Ensure that you have completed all necessary new hire paperwork. You will bring this paperwork with you on your first day. New employees completing the I-9 Form must come to HR with your acceptable documents. HR cannot accept a picture of a document for your I-9 Form, so bring the physical documents.

Your First Day

On your first day of work, you will have a Benefits Orientation with Human Resources at our office. Be sure to bring your employment verification documents to this meeting. You will be required to present your I-9 form and acceptable identity and work authorization documents.

During this meeting, a HR staff member will provide you with an overview of HWS’ benefits, payroll procedures, and any other relevant information.

Your First Week (and Beyond)

New employees are required to complete compliance training within their first week of work. This training is through United Educators and employees will use their HWS credentials to log in. Access instructions will be provided to you during your Benefits Orientation. Some employees may also need to complete additional safety trainings if their roll falls under the scope of the Clergy Act.
