Beginning in 2026, Hobart and William Smith uses TrueScripts as our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) for enrolled participants in the Colleges Excellus medical plan. Your Excellus ID card is also your prescription benefits ID card.
TrueScripts Specialty Pharmacy provides specialty medication to participants and will contact employees who prescribe to specialty medications to inform them of their specific formulary changes and to make them aware of manufacturer programs available to them.
HWS also offers a program enhancement called GlobalRX, a voluntary program that could potentially save members money while maintaining quality standards and ensuring effective clinical management.
The 2026 copay structure is $5/$45/$90/$200 for retail. More information regarding mail order services can be found online.
